Gauntlet is a very odd boy, if odd could be a word used loosely. He is kind and generous and yet doesn't understand why he gets walked all over. Tries very hard to come off as about as rougish as his 'Hero' Slayer but cannot pull it off. Hates when he is laughed at and told that he will amount to nothing. Is known to throw tantrums when things do not go his way. Is you typical spoiled brat, which is partially due to his sister. When angry tends to throw things, curse and will storm off knocking everyone and anyone out of his way. This is something that he needs to learn how to control. |

Gauntlet wears very dark clothing, sticking mainly with blacks, greys, dark blue and greens. Normally seen clad in a loose shirt that always has long sleeves, wrist wraps, a large belt, tight fitted pants with calf boots. His boots have large metal buckles on the side and the very tip and heel have metal plate on them. |

Born to his parents through recognition, he was the second child for the couple and viewed as the High Ones final blessing. He has an older sister Rosehip that completely lavished affection on the boy. As he grew up he began to tag along after his healer sister, following her about to her training sessions and even trying to practice along with her.
At the age of 10, he discovered his shielding ability when he had gotten under the feet of the warrior Ex-Captain Deathbringer, the man threw a large object at the boy and instinctively he threw he hands up but the object never reached him, it hit an invisible wall and fell to the floor. After that he stomped about the practice yards with his head high and practically challenging the Ex-Captain.
When Gauntlet became 15 he approached his siter and Slayer about training to be a fighter for the courts. Slayer looked to Gauntlets sister for the answer to that knowing she knew the boy better then he and she would know if he was ready to begin a life of hard work and strife.
Lately he's been getting himself into very bad situations has this problem of somehow meddling in things he shouldn't be and over hearing things he should be killed for knowing. |
